If you want to visit Amsra and the Black Sea region but are put off by the outdated, overpriced hotels along the coast - I highly recommend staying in Bartin and visiting from there (20 minutes drive). Kaf Konak is a gem of a hotel, with a beautiful garden and a restaurant with full bar (which can be difficult to find in the area). Rooms are on the small side but beautifully furnished and restored in line with the historic nature of the building. If I come to the area again, I hope to stay at Kaf Konak again!

Landscape was amazing! It makes you feel like you are in egzotic southern city. It exceed my expectations. Sea was clean and warm. Hotel stuff was friendly. Restaurant food was quite tasty and good.
